About Jessica

Jessica M. Marquez — Founder & Director, WMW International

Jessica M. Marquez actively entered ministry at the age of ten, serving as a Sunday School teacherand musician in the local church her father pastored. By age thirteen, she became her church’s youth leader, displaying a passion for leadership and service that would define her life.

After graduating from high school, Jessica received multiple scholarship offers from prestigious universities, including Harvard University, yet she chose to follow her divine calling by enrolling at Texas Bible College.

It was there that she met Antonio Marquez, the son of missionaries Alex Marquez (then Vice President of the UPC of Mexico) and Henrietta Marquez. Just two weeks after their wedding, Jessica and Antonio moved to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where they served for two years as Associates in Missions (AIM). Following this, they were appointed as the youngest missionaries in UPCI Global Missions history—Antonio was 20 and Jessica was 21.

International Missionary Service

The Marquez family spent ten years in Mexico, where Jessica served as Michoacán District Ladies’ President and Personal Secretary to the National Ladies’ President of Mexico.

In 2007, they were appointed missionaries to Costa Rica, where Jessica became the National Coordinator for the World Network of Prayer and taught at the Bible College in San José.

In 2009, the Marquez family was appointed to the Dominican Republic, residing in Santiago, where they oversaw three regions and three Bible Colleges as both administrators and professors. Jessica also served as a mentor to the National Ladies’ President and remained deeply involved in women’s ministry and leadership development.

Across the years, Jessica has ministered in 39 nations, including North America, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Australia, Europe, and Asia. Her radical passion for souls and her commitment to discipleship, teaching, and mentorship have left a lasting impact wherever she ministers.

North American Ministry

In January 2012, after nearly 17 years of missionary service, Antonio and Jessica transitioned from the foreign mission field to become pastors in Miami, Florida.

In 2017, Jessica made history as the first woman ever ordained as a minister in the Florida District of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI) and the first woman appointed as a North American Missionary, founding a new church in Downtown Miami—one of two thriving congregations they established there. Both Jessica and Antonio also taught at Purpose Institute for five years.

Together, they have planted 17 churches across four nations.

Her leadership and community service earned her nomination and approval as a biographical candidate for Who’s Who in America, representing Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, and Professionals from the state of Texas.

She served as Chaplain with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and the Little Rock Police Department in Arkansas. A Life of Ministry and Legacy

Together, Jessica and her husband travel the world, evangelizing and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ with passion and purpose. Her first book, focused on Miracles, is currently in progress.

Her greatest joy, however, is found at home—as wife to Antonio (28 years), mother to Antonio Jr. (26) and Lexy (25) and Joey (24).

Soon she will be “Abuelita” to her first grandchild, Ollie!

Jessica’s life and ministry continue to exemplify faith, courage, and the power of obedience to God’s call.
